Quote from engadget “Ah, it’s that wonderful time of year again: the leaves are changing, the air is getting crisp, and children everywhere are looking under their keyboards to see what treats they’ve scored in honor of International Caps Lock Day. Invented by greeting card companies to fill the void between Trafalgar Day and Mole Day, Caps Lock Day is the one occasion when lovers of capitalization can come together with the haters from CAPSoff and hack-a-day and pay homage to the little key that habitually blows up your spot when trying to type a lower-case “a.” So go ahead, join in the fun, and make sure to annoy everyone on your buddy list by acting like a n00b and “shouting” all of your messages to celebrate this holiest of days.”

CAPS lock and NUM lock are cool features in Blackberry, which was not known by many Blackberry users that they exists or how to activate it. And I was also one of those poor user ;-). I was not using this feature to its full extend until a necessity arisen for me.
Turn on CAPS Lock : Press ALT Key + RIGHT SHIFT Key
This little nifty device thingy is based on a ATTiny45 micro-controller and is designed to be plugged in into an available USB port, and to remain there unnoticeable. It than takes control of the caps lock function turning it on (or off).
Now we can take over computers World Wide and spread the love for caps! Just imagine that the person sitting at that computer will go nuts trying to figure what’s happening
“This device plugs into a USB port and implements a USB HID keyboard. Instead of doing anything useful, it waits between 30 seconds and 8 minutes and sends the scancode for the Caps Lock key. This will toggle the Caps Lock status on or off. Since the operating system controls the LED on the keyboard, the Caps Lock light also toggles. This makes it appear the user has accidentally pressed the Caps Lock key…until it happens 20 or 30 times and they get suspicious. Then they might see the Caps Lock light turn on by itself. Next is a sequence of reboots, bashing the keyboard on the desk, clicking through the Control Panel, possibly even replacing the keyboard. Unless they notice the tiny little device sitting in one of the USB ports on the back of their computer, nothing will help.”
There is one key in your keyboard that outshines all the rest: THE CAPS LOCK KEY! If you have never used it, you are truly missing out. Let your voice be heard above all others! Caps lock is AWESOME!
Is it time to permanently retire the Caps Lock key? Pieter Hintjens thinks so, we don’t
“Hintjens, the CEO of iMatix, has launched the Capsoff organization in a campaign urging hardware manufacturers to ditch the oft-abused and misused key. Hintjens’ plan is to build the entire infrastructure for the movement using only freely available tools from Google. He’s already set up a Blogger Capsoff blog and a forum at Google Groups.” found at wired
